Why? That is perfectly fine. Signed-off-by is about copyright of the
code while From: is about authorship. Moreover, it is still possible to
specify an alternative From: as first line of the body. So Christopher
could:

  From: Christopher Clark <christopher.w.cl...@gmail.com> (the email header) 
  From: Christopher Clark <christopher.cla...@baesystems.com> (in the body)
  Signed-off-by: Christopher Clark <christopher.cla...@baesystems.com> (in the 
body)
