Which version of OpenSolaris are you using?
This sounds like bug 6612343 "The fix for 6292092
and xvm dom0 not getting along":

Workaround for bug 6612343 is to add the following
to /etc/system, and reboot:
set softcall_delay=0x100000
The problem is fixed in build 79 or newer.
