***********************************************************************
I would say:-
SNV87 Dom0 kernel vs 2.6.18.8-xen kernel compiled from source on CentOS 5.1
***********************************************************************
When i load Xen 3.2.1 on xen disabled CentOS 5.1 instance
grub entry is:-
******************************************
title Xen-3.2 x86_64 (2.6.18.8-xen)
******************************************
root (hd1,4)
kernel /xen-3.2.gz
module /vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-xen ro root=/dev/VolGroup01/LogVol00 rhgb quiet
module /initrd-2.6.18.8-xen.img
***************************************************
and 3.2 xend service is already activated:-
**************************************************
# chkconfig --add xend
# chkconfig xend on
All Xen 3.2.1 binaries are already compiled from source and installed.
When i do the same on F8 it will work as well, but Xen 3.2 build would
be done by different version of gcc and glibc ( at least i guess so).
