I've set the domain to 1 vcpu, it's still running the multiprocessor acpi HAL 
and have ran the installer as before.  Again it's the same hang on booting, the 
VNC console shows the win2k3 boot screen, the progress bar stops moving and the 
vcpu is pinned as below:-
