The kernel can be compiled with full debugging enabled,
or it can be compiled as release binary bits.

This is controlled by the -D and -F NIGHTLY_OPTIONS
in the opensolaris.sh file.  If you remove the -D -F options
and recompile with "nightly opensolaris.sh" you'll get
release binaries ( onnv-3.4/archives/i386/nightly-nd/ )
