BTW, there's a few things you can do here... If you on a zfs filesystem, you can put a quota on the dump dir. # zfs create -o mountpoint=/var/xen/dump,quota=4G rpool/xendumps You can also set enable-dump to false in the xend service. svccfg -s xend setprop config/enable-dump = false svcadm refresh xend svcadm restart xend Or you can set your guests to not restart on crash in cause you hit a panic loop.
