I am having trouble getting some definite information as to whether or
not xen (and in particular, xvm on an OpenSolaris dom0) does currently
support emulated scsi (disk) devices (ie provide an HVM scsi target
driver).
What domU OS are you thinking of? E.g. Windows PV drivers emulate SCSI
targets, since all disks are SCSI as far as the Windows storage stack is
concerned.
I am thinking of Solaris domUs as well. I wanted to find out if necessary
components are available to even consider running a fully firtualized OHAC
development environment, which would need shared SCSI storage.
I am aware that this is much more than simple H/W SCSI emulation, but as a start
I would like to understand what exists to possibly start building upon.
