Hi,
I was trying to find an explanation for
WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode, dr6=ffff0ff0
on an s10 HVM domU on an snv_122 som0 and noticed bug 6773998. From the
description it is not quite clear if the message is related to a root-cause or not.
Could anyone please give a brief explanation as to what the "Unexpected INT 1"
is and which effects it could cause? I am seeing many of these messages when
running a metaset command:
Oct 6 22:13:36 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:16:29 pub0-node1 last message repeated 1478 times
Oct 6 22:16:44 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:23:18 pub0-node1 last message repeated 231 times
Oct 6 22:23:18 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:29:44 pub0-node1 last message repeated 403 times
Oct 6 22:29:59 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:36:20 pub0-node1 last message repeated 233 times
Oct 6 22:36:50 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:43:11 pub0-node1 last message repeated 639 times
Oct 6 22:43:26 pub0-node1 unix: WARNING: Unexpected INT 1 in user mode,
dr6=ffff0ff0
Oct 6 22:47:01 pub0-node1 last message repeated 997 times
As the metaset command behaves erroneously, it would be good to know if the two
symptoms could be related. (see also

Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you, Nils
