Through my experience virt-install works fine , if you open another window and issue :-
# virsh console <DomainName> Vnc-console will be up in a second to install linux PV DomU (say F12) in graphical mode. DomU been created is manageable via virsh as usual. So, as i've learned , now virsh console on OSOL129 is not serial any more.
