I think this is another example of confusing SXCE with OpenSolaris. OpenSolaris will continue to exist. SXCE (Solaris eXpress Community Edition?) is the binary "Solaris Nevada" (old packaging) release. My guess is that someone made a *decree* that this would be the LAST SXCE without realizing that the next one was already built. I have heard several such "last SXCE" announcements, and yet they keep churning out, so we'll see. I don't think *anyone* knows what will happen to OpenSolaris or Solaris (Express) in the coming months after the big "O" takes over. Technically OpenSolaris can always live on (maybe under another name), since its open source, right? :)
