Hello, sorry if these questions have been answered before but please excuse me,
I'm new to xVM :)

Anyway I have been using Linux/Xen for quite a while and am very familiar with
it. I am very interesting in changing to OpenSolaris/xVM for the primary reason
of being able to easily leverage the ZFS filesystem and thin provisioning for
better storage efficiency.

1) Is this ZFS thin provisioning using locally attached disks a 'reliable'
method of storage allocation, i.e. we should not expect fragmentation or
performance that degrades over time?
2) Is it expected that performance will be the same as when using a Linux Dom0
(as I assume the core Xen hypervisor will be the same), ultimately most of my
guests will be Linux based
3) What version of OpenSolaris/xVM is currently recommended for stable-ish use?
:-) Currently I'm using Xen 3.3 so I have no need for any 3.4/bleeding edge
features.

Thanks in advance for all the comments :-)
