In my opinion, you would be better off pursuing zones (Solaris Containers) than 
LDOMS on a T1000/T2000. Zones share the same running kernel, so they are more 
like application virtualization. LDOMS divvy up the hardware such as CPU cores 
and memory. Ldoms also seem to proxy all the network and i/o and thus are a LOT 
more overhead. On a 5120/5220 type system (Niagara 2), I think LDOMS works a 
bit better, but still has all the i/o overhead. Again, this is just my opinion, 
after having run LDOMS for a couple years alongside zones and xVM.
