mount: unknown filesystem type 'devfs'
Uh oh, I don't think this is even an option for our Xen kernel,
IIRC devfs is long dead.
Your rootfs is showing its age.
+ /etc/init.d/sshd start
no /dev (from devfs or udev) ... no /dev/pts ... no sshd
Just adding a static /dev dir on the root fs might solve this. Or
perhaps mount crapped out after the devfs failure, and didn't mount
devpts because of that. Or your distro is _so_ old that it doesn't
know about devpts at all (_highly_ unlikely heh).
this rootfs was designed for k42 which has linux kernel blob which is
_way_ old 2.6.{5,13}, ancient for us :).
