After the suggested patch the thread seems to end, i did not dig deeper. And in the current ipipe-kernel that suggested change is also not contained. There is a change that looks like it could be addressing this problem https://git.xenomai.org/ipipe.git/commit/?id=c3a9cbc321ea9867546c352775ba69b61af2feef I guess it is worth trying a kernel update ipipe-core-3.14.44-arm-17 or go for the 3.18 right away.
