What function does cobalt_thread_probe() provides.

Hi，
     I am using xenomai-v3.0.9.

     I wonder the function cobalt_thread_probe() provides.The source code
is really simple which is listed below.I could not find any clue in the
entrie project.
     I don't think the function is really to kill some process.
