Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity,
and never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by
ignorance. There is a lot of detail to keep track of in the XML world, and
the fact that it's spread over so many interconnected documents doesn't
help. Nobody remembers it all, all the time.
