Stuffit Expander truncates filenames

------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-11-23 03:43 -------
Thanks William for reporting this issue. I believe the Mac OS build notes already
mention
in a number of places that a number of tools may limit file names to 32 characters,
and
that extraction of the archive should be done with gnutar.

On a bright note, I'll mention to you that the latest version of stuffit expander
(7.0.1)
actually fixes this stuffit problem, and will maintain the full length of the file
names it is
presented while extracting the tar archive.
