When you gunzip, and untar it you will find two files that are "diff -u"'s of xerces-c sources files. You can use the patch command to merge the diff's into the code (on cygwin it is patch -i difffile sourcename.cpp). Alternatively, you can download the latest CVS code, which has this patch integrated.
