Hi list, I've noticed that DOMWriter::nodeWrite() is extremely slow. I have a list of about 850 simple nodes, and it takes about 15 seconds to write the file on a P4 2.4 GHz machine with plenty of RAM. The resulting file is 41 Kb. During the write-process, the disk is very busy. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a way to speed up the write process?
I'm linking with xerces-C 2.1.0 under Windows 2000/XP.
