Compiling with C++Builder 6

I'm trying to compile the Xerces-C (xerces-c-current.zip 27/10/2003) using the C++Builder 6.0 Build 10.166, and I get a bunch of "internal compiler error", even using the XercesLib.bpr provided in the package. I have also try to use directly the xerces-c_2_3_0-win32.zip package, but I also get "internal compiler errors" compiling any of the examples (that is, with the simple inclusion of the headers).   Is that usual? has anybody been able to compile with C++Builder 6.0? Is it a problem of my compiler, or a problem of the Xerces-C code?     Best regards
