Problems with SAXParser and getErrorCount

Why are you creating your own DTDValidator object and attaching that to the 
parser?  If you do this, the parser will assume you know everything about the 
validator--including how to hook up the error reporter and DTDHandler.  If this 
assumption isn't valid, just new up the SAXParser with no parameters, leave all 
your settings unchanged, and all should work out well.
