Yes, networking is not yet available for Mingw, so you have to disable it.
Try using
./runConfigure -p mingw-msys -n fileonly

Is there a conflict or something like that if you have both Msys/MinGw and
Cygwin ? Env. variable or
something like this ?
Get the current snapshot on the CVS ?
Thanks a lot for the good job done, I am using Xerces-C++ since version 2.2
and still happy with it.
