My understanding is that there will be a function XMLParser.getXMLString()
in some future version once everyone decides on it's functionality.  Until
then, you might want to look at the DOMPrint sample program included in the
xerces-C_1_0_1 distribution.

Is there a way to save an XML document to disk, similar to the Microsoft
document.save() method?  Should this be added, or am I just completely
missing something?
