Writing XML Documents?

Hey All,   I'm currently new to Xerces and trying to write an xml document that I have already read in.  I'm appending elements to the end of it and trying to out put it.  But I'm having problems with this.  Does anyone have an example of writing xml documents from a Document instance?  Or know of any links that have code examples of this?   Thanks!   Steven
