We are in the process of modifying our web site (Sun Ultra 10 running
Solaris 7 and iPlanet Enterprise WebServer 4.0) to use SSL. We run 2
instances of the iPlane Web Server on the Sun Ultra 10. One uses port 443
(https:) for all of our User Interface (html and ColdFusion templates) and
the other uses port 80 (http:) for our XSD and DTD files. Were we able to
successfully validate DTD based documents, but had no such luck with the XSD
documents. Is there something quirky about the SAX parser in V1.3.1 of the
xerces.jar that would prevent validation of XSD based XML files in a non-SSL
weberver that run on a processor that also has an SSL configured WEbServer?
