I have run the files you provided against the Xerces 1.4.3 release on Windows
2000, the only change being to replace "../../dtd/PRC.DTD" with "bug3795.dtd",
and "sax.SAXCount -v", "sax.SAX2Count -v" and "dom.DOMCount -v" all agree that
the files are fine. If I change ID="toto" to ID="toto2", then they all fail in
the way you describe, as one would expect. Please verify that you are using the
files that you think you are and that the samples run properly in your
environment. If the problem persists then more information about how you are
using the parser will be needed to track the problem down.
