Hi Glenn, Whoops; right! I've fixed the docs for both Xerces1 and Xerces2 accordingly.
It's worth pointing out though that the question is currently moot for Xerces2: even if you set these features the parser won't complain in the appropriate situation. I think there's a bug for this somewhere but this should definitely go on our TOTO list. These are not SAX features, but rather Apache XML features, and therefore there is no problem. If the Apache docs say that these are true by default, they are wrong. They have never been true in the code base, nor should they be.
