http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5677 JavaDoc problems throughout sourcecode ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-03-13 22:24 ------- Elena: The whitespace problem has in fact been fixed by the DOM working group, but for W3C procedural reason they can't change the version referenced from the DOM Level 2 Recommendation itself. The fixed version is available from the DOM Errata page; ideally, that's the one we should be using. XML-Commons has been updated from that source (unless someone has overwritten it again). Xerces should synchronize with that. Part of the problem is that the old comments got copied into the implementation classes. Those would have to be updated manually, which I agree is a pain. It's only cosmetic. But if someone's willing to do the work, I think it's worthwhile. If you can get some volunteer to do it and submit proposed patches, I think it's worth considering... so speaking personally I'd recommend kicking it down to ENHANCEMENT and leaving it open rather than resolving it as WONTFIX. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
