I haven't had much luck reproducing this: I registered an XMLErrorHandler in the XMLGrammarBuilder sample and saw that it's fatalError method was being called. I did fix XMLGrammarPreparser such that the continue- after-fatal-error feature is correctly handled; perhaps that will help. If you could test with current CVS code, that would be great.
