Hi all,

Over the past several months, Ankit Pasricha has made steady contributions
[1] to Xerces-J participating on the mailing lists and submitting several
patches including ones for XML Schema 1.1 and changes he proposed to XNI
[2]. He's also helped us identify which of Xerces classes are public,
experimental or internal, marking the source with @xerces.internal and
@xerces.experimental tags that are recognized by a taglet he contributed.
Most recently Ankit contributed a patch which improves the performance of
parsing documents with many entity references by reusing character
buffers.

Once the JAXP 1.3 RI finally finds its way onto a branch, Ankit will be
helping with merging the code back onto the main trunk. In order to make
it easier for Ankit to continue to make his valuable contributions, I'd
like to nominate him for committer status.

Here's my +1.
