It's been a long time since we tossed this ball around. It would be

Yay! Thanks, Neil, for taking this on (again). :)
I've read over your email and just have some minor comments
and questions. Otherwise, it looks really good.
Proposed Xerces PMC:
Neil Graham
Berin Lautenbach
Gareth Reakes
I would suggest listing the sub-project of each proposed
PMC member as well. Also, the opening text of the PMC section
in the proposed charter doesn't make it clear that each sub-
project needs to have a representative on the PMC; it only
says that PMC representatives will be taken from all the
active sub-projects. This is described in detail in 5.4 but
I would reword the opening text to make it more clear on
this point.

The History section says nothing about IBM's contribution

should. I don't want their contribution forgotten since it
was so important to the success of this project at Apache.

This part looks good. I know we went back and forth about
the definition of a "sub-project" in previous discussions
so I'm happy to see this resolved and defined so well in
this proposed charter.

Does this imply that we are dropping Crimson from the
active development branch?

nominated by a committer and approved by at least 50 percent of
the active committers for that subproject with no opposing votes.
Some of the newer sub-projects will be quite small. So do we
want to make the vote only by the active committers of that
sub-project?
