Hello,
I am a newbie to the XML world and have been
assigned recently to convert a few DTDS that we were using at work to W3C XML
Schema documents.
Our DTDs also use entities heavily, e.g. my DTD has
a reference to a an entity for storing latin characters,
<!ENTITY % ISOlat1 PUBLIC "ISO
8879:1986//ENTITIES Added Latin 1//EN//XML" "ISOlat1.pen">
%ISOlat1;
and within that entity declaration we have entities
of the form,
<!ENTITY Agrave "À"
><!-- capital A, grave accent -->
<!ENTITY Aacute "Á" ><!-- capital A, acute accent --> <!ENTITY Acirc "Â" ><!-- capital A, circumflex accent --> <!ENTITY Atilde "Ã" ><!-- capital A, tilde --> My problem is, how to convert these entities into
the W3C schema document, any help or advice in this direction would be highly
appreciated.
Kind Regards,
