Good day, I was trying to install XML::Xerces from the latest tarball available at: http://www.apache.org/dist/xml/xerces-p/ which is version 2.5.0.
I then proceeded to http://www.apache.org/dist/xml/xerces-c/ to download xerces-c as detailed in the documentation. Unfortunately the only version available there is 2.6.0, which causes the XML::Xerces Makefile.PL to choke that there's a version mis-match. I wanted to bring this to your attention before trying to force XML::Xerces to accept the new version and ask your recommended course of action.
