Hi all, I think I see myself defeated by the time lords (damn you Dr Who!). I simply can't find the time to finish and roll a RC3 before the hackfest (yes! it involves actual work!).
What I propose to do instead is to simply merge the current updates[1] into the unstable spec and let them stay there until RC3 is out. These changes will be declared "sacred" so that we promise not to go about and change them before RC3. Personally I would like that guarantee at least because I can get a head start of my RC3 coding that way.
