This is not a correct preamble! I am using XeLaTeX to typeset Greek documents and I would use something like the following: \documentclass[a4paper]{book} \usepackage{xltxtra} \usepackage{xgreek} \usepackage{unicode-math} \begin{document} \setmainfont[Mapping=tex-text,Ligatures=Common]{GFS Bodoni} \setsansfont[Mapping=tex-text,Scale=MatchLowercase]{Verdana} \setmonofont[Scale=MatchLowercase]{UM Typewriter} \setmathfont[Scale=MatchUppercase]{Asana Math} Regards, Apostolos ---------------------- Apostolos Syropoulos Xanthi, Greece -------------------------------------------------- Subscriptions, Archive, and List information, etc.: http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/xetex
