Shrisha, It should work with unicode gujarati fonts, though I have tried only with Shruti font on windows.
Himanshu wanted a map for gujarati text to use with xetex, hence I made this. I have tested it with a small sanskrit text sample converted to gujarati script. He has noted some errors / missing mappings from the map - I'll take a look at it in a couple of days. Thanks!
