I don't have the fonts so couldn't get quite the result you want but you are using \lettrine mid-paragraph, and keeping the paragraph text in a group that ends before the paragraph ends, both of these are likely to have strange effects with macros like \lettrine that rely on setting \parshape
The Underfull \hbox (badness 10000) in paragraph at lines 33--35 are due to mis-placed \\ which should never be at the end of the paragraph You don't really say what output you expect but if I remove the suspicious looking groups and \\ I get the attached which seems to work David
