Btw. why "po", "pl" probably, right? :-) Anyway, I think I know where the problem is, the generated locale for Polish looks like this "pl_PL.utf8", when I launch program, I have English menu, BUT when I force export with "pl_PL.UTF8" (note the upper case for "utf8" part), as the result I get Polish menu.
