--- Comment #4 from nlh <[email protected]> --- Thanks, I had seen that in my research. We have used several file managers and this problem only occurs on Thunar. The way to create it is to have an Ubuntu system with xfce4 installed Install xrdb and have it running Using MS Remote Desktop Connection on either a Windows or Mac and use that to connect to the ubuntu system Start thunar and as your home directory is the default, you get the error. We've had to move from xfce for a number of reasons, not just this one.
