Bug ID: 16686 Summary: Option to rename a file when existing copy conflicts Classification: Xfce Core Product: Thunar Version: git Hardware: PC (x86_64) URL: https://github.com/jrd/thunar/tree/rename-on-fail-copy OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Medium Component: General Assignee: xfce-bugs@xfce.org Reporter: j...@enialis.net Target Milestone: 1.8.13 Created attachment 9713 --> https://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=9713&action=edit patched based on pause-copy branch Allow to rename conflicted file names when copy/move files. The dialog don't allow fancy editing but relies on the already-working suffix `(copy X)` appended when copying a single file in the same directory. To allow this, I needed to add two more possible answers to `THUNAR_JOB_RESPONSE`: `RENAME` and `RENAME_ALL`. The attached patched is based on my previous patch/bug (https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16685) The commit can also be found in a git branch (url attached to this bug). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list Xfce-bugs@xfce.org https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
