Ok, thanks for clearing it up. Follow this page to apply for an svn
account: http://i18n.xfce.org/wiki/translator_account

Be very patient for the account to be created, 4.6 is coming out these days and some things need to be cleared up in i18n but don't despair.

Best regards,
Max.

Hi Mike,

I think you didn't understand me completely.

I've started translating Xfce to polish language about 3 months ago
and since that time I send you updates regularly. For now I reviewed
and updated almost all translations from xfce/trunk branch and most
from goodies/trunk.

I'm working alone for now and there is no committer in polish team.
Last updates before mine was committed in 2007 year.

I understand your point of view but having own SVN account will be
helpful. Don't worry, I know how to use it ;) I used SVN when I was
working with other translations.

Piotrek

P.S. You can find my name on Language Maintainers now. I didn't know
that it can be edited by me.

Hi,

Please update the following page:
http://i18n.xfce.org/wiki/language_maintainers

It doesn't list you (yet) as translator for pl. If you never got an
answer from previous translators, than you might go ahead and start
translating. Follow the topics about "how to start translating" and
"the svn script" on the wiki http://i18n.xfce.org, you don't need an
svn account to start, you can send diff's on this list that will be
picked up and committed. We like to commit ourselves before
delegating that role. In this case it's not sure the past
translators are gone forever, you still might have a chance to
catch up with them.

Mike

Hello,

It passed few months since I've started working on Xfce polish
translation. For all this time I didn't notice if someone from
polish team is still active. Some time ago I've wrote down to
other members and it seems that I'm only one left.

So this is my question: it's possible to take over maintaining of
polish group translations, get SVN account and commit changes
myself? I think this would be easier and faster than sending
changes and waiting for someone who will commit them. I
understand that I'll have to take care of other polish group
translations if they will appear.

Best regards,
Piotrek
