Good news. Is there an image I could try? I'd like to test the RC3 beta, but I can only do so from a CD. > > gnumeric (do people really need a spreadsheet on a live media?) You're probably correct. Oddly, Gnumeric is sometimes more 'xls' compatible than OOo is, I've found. But unless someone is 'checking' whether fedora represents a possible path away from Windows, particularly in a business environment where xls compatibility is pretty crucial, I wouldn't think it matters too much. I guess I'm wondering that people use 'live spins' to 'see if something looks promising'. Committed/Believing users will already know, and won't need a spreadsheet. > This takes us down to 695MB. > > Thoughts? > > -- > diff --git a/fedora-livecd-xfce.ks b/fedora-livecd-xfce.ks > index f9b5fa1..9cc9cb5 100644 > --- a/fedora-livecd-xfce.ks > +++ b/fedora-livecd-xfce.ks > @@ -16,13 +16,11 @@ > > # development > geany > @@ -88,6 +86,7 @@ wget > irssi > mutt > yum-utils > +fpaste > Kevin, apologies for not understanding this 'diff' report. Does this mean wget will be 'in' or 'out'? wget on a live spin is very handy, and can sometimes help dig you out of a hole with another non-functioning OS, most especially because it will restart on a less-than-stellar internet link.. And, thanks, by the way, for trying hard to keep FF/java on the spin. Really is much appreciated. regards, Ron _______________________________________________ xfce mailing list [email protected] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce
