Hi, I use the cli Version to prevent the installation of Nautilus. http://wiki.dropbox.com/TipsAndTricks/TextBasedLinuxInstall The only thing that's missing is the Context-Menu inside of the Dropbox. But honestly, for me the web interface offers a good replacement for that (obtaining Public Links etc.).
I symlinked ~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd to /usr/bin and now could just start dropbox from Alt+F2.
