Last time I checked, xguest wasn't working. It hasn't been updated
since but I may try to help debugging it, if it's the case.
Problem is that I have F17 and no space to install F18 but if xguest
works properly, that's a package I would also include.
Might be worthwhile. I have no idea if it works currently, or works
with lightdm either.
xguest is pretty simple (IDK under the hood). It creates a 'guest/Guest'
user and works in a way that its home folder is setup only temporarily.
I think what was preventing it from working (logging in) was some
permission stuff, like PAM. So it could be lightdm related.
