Hi all,

in the Xfce 4.16 upgrade process I noticed some of the panel plugins I
maintain, do have some issues. Both of these plugins didn't see any upstream
development in the last 5 years.
I don't know if the xfce4-embed-plugin [1] and the xfce4-kbdleds-plugin are
still actively maintained by the Xfce community, but I only could find an
upstream website for the embed plugin.

I would like to either orphan the plugins for someone else or directly retire
them, since that seems to be a bit more appropriate.

Hi Johannes,

I think retiring unmaintained plugins is the way to go. As you may have noticed, that's the plan of action for orage and possible thunar-vfs-plugin as well.

I am updating all the plugins that get an upstream release on rawhide and my COPR.

Cheers,
Mukundan.
