Will this be fixed in the future?

Merely booting some Live media (especially Fedora 42) adds an entry to the UEFI boot table

https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/merely-booting-some-live-media-especially-fedora-42-adds-an-entry-to-the-uefi-boot-table/148774

Fedora 42 kiwi-built live images contain shim fallback executable, so they create 'Fedora' EFI boot manager entries on boot, and show a 'Boot Option Restored' screen if TPM is enabled

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2358785

And how will we know if it is fixed?

Many thanks,
-T
