I bought and
installed Mandrake Linux 9.0.

couldn't run my operating system on a higher resolution than 800x600. I got the
message 'Signal Out Of Range'. My video card is NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 (64
MB); I have an Epox EP-8K3A(+) (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 3 DIMM, Audio)
mainboard. I downloaded drivers for my video card but XFree refused to start
after I installed them. Linux starts in console mode.
