[XFree86] Fatal server error:

Hello,

I am installing Red Hat 8.0 for the first time on hdb, on a system with a Windows ME on hda (dual boot). I get a "Fatal server error: no screen found" message. I have a Diamond Stealth 64 series display card(if that is the problem). I can access the text login, but I can't get X server working (is that the GUI?). Please help, I am just starting out with Linux and Red Hat in particular. I don't even know how to copy the file /var/log/XFree86.0.log to a floppy so I can attach the error log in this email (I'm using another PC). I'd appreciate any light to this.
