Hi,
I am extreemly new to linux and unix type OSes. I
really need to know the detailed method of installing
a newer version of the xfree86 program. I cannot get
into the Gnome X system. I need to install and config
X from the prompt. Can any one direct me to a URL or
tell me what method to use. I don't understand these
rpm / tar.gz etc extensions and how to execute them.
Any help is really appreciated, Thanks
