I have just installed XFree86 4.3.0 on my computer running
FreeBSD 4.7. I am having 2 problems with the Radeon 9700Pro. MB ASUS
P4B533 512 RAM 1- When I run WindowMaker or Gnome
the pressing the alpha keys cause the screen to go blank and the resolution to
change. However, pressing the numeric keys cause no problem and are
the numbers are displayed correctly. 2- The XFree86.log file shows that the display is defaulting
to 8 bit graphics and virtual colour. Any suggestions? Thanks, |
